Michelle Obama Will Join The Final Season Of “Black-ish”

Our favorite former First Lady Michelle Obama is making her sitcom debut on the final season of “Black-ish.”

The monumental appearance was unveiled when the official Instagram account for the show posted a photo that featured the cast and Mrs. Obama.

“We are honored to have trailblazer @michelleobama join us as an upcoming guest star,” the caption read. Naturally, fans of the show flooded the comment section expressing their excitement about the special guest as well as their disdain over the show coming to an end.

While not much is known about the episode, a representative for Mrs. Obama revealed that she will be starring as herself. 

The inspirational author also confirmed the news about the upcoming episode on Twitter. Sharing the cast photo, Obama stated that she has long been a fan of the sitcom and said it was a “thrill to join in for an episode.”

“Black-ish” returns for the eighth and final season in early 2022. The series debuted on September 24th, 2014. Its success spawned several spin-offs, including “Grown-ish” and “Mixed-ish.”
