A father and son have been arrested after police in Michigan found methamphetamine inside a large McDonald’s cup.
On March 18, Michigan State police pulled over a driver named Emmanuel McMillan, 54, and his son Joshua McMillan, 30. At the time, police believed the two were in possession of white crystallized substance.
Newsweek reports police pulled them over near a rest area on Interstate 75 in Bagley Township, and that’s when they discovered meth floating in a large Mickie D’s cup filled with Coca-Cola. The drugs were in a tied plastic baggie found underneath the car’s floorboard.
Both men were arrested on one count of delivery and possession of meth and were arraigned in 87th District Court in Otsego County. McMillan had previously been placed on parole for a year back, on September 23, 2021. He was also charged in 2017 with three counts, one of which included a count for operating a meth lab.
Their court date is set for March 24. They each have a cash bond set at $10,000.
