Michigan Teacher Gets Knocked Out By Student Who Threw Metal Chair [Video]

A Michigan teacher was knocked out after a student threw a metal chair at her.

Video footage of the disturbing incident shows the teacher standing in front of the classroom talking a student, while another student yells from the side of the room.

At some point, the student picks up a chair and throws it, hitting the teacher in the head and falls to the floor.

The clip also captures another student cheering in the background, TMZ reported.

The teacher was transported to the hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.

Southwestern Academy Superintendent Kevelin Jones sent a letter to parents informing them about the incident, which was described as a “physical altercation between two scholars” that led to the teacher getting injured.

Jones did not say what happened to the student following the attack.
