In March of 2016, a Michigan woman, by the name of Leiha Ann-Sue Artman, alleged that four black men had abducted her from her home driveway, tossed her into the trunk of their car, and brutally raped and bludgeoned her once they made it to an unknown destination.
Days after the supposed kidnapping, Artman’s boyfriend received text messages from the predators, demanding cash amounts in exchange for Artman’s return and sending graphic photos of the mother-of-three that captured her “gagged and bleeding from her head”, #MLive reports.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Subsequently, Artman had finally gotten in contact with her lover, and she told him to pick her up from a nearby location.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Artman later admitted that she actually fabricated the whole story.
According to court documents, she was then charged with false report of a felony and registered as a second offense habitual offender.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, instead of jail time, Artman was put into a ‘swift and sure’ probation program. Later, she was also sent to a residential jail alternative program.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In October of 2017, she violated the rules of her probation after going missing from the residential program. Immediately, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The #DailyMail reported that Artman was caught around October 10th and was transported from the jail to Mercy Health’s Hackley Campus in Muskegon, Michigan for treatment and examination. She alleged that she had been sexually assaulted prior to the arrest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While at the hospital, Artman tried to flee from the officer’s custody, but she was unsuccessful.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On January 4th, 2018, Leiha Ann-Sue Artman was served a sentence of thirteen months to possibly four years on a count of resisting and obstructing police. It was her 27th birthday and nearly two years after she faked the horrid gang-rape story.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The 27-year-old has warrants issued for three other occurrences. The first one was issued on June 20th, 2017 for using alcohol and cocaine, another one on July 18th for failing to submit to substance abuse testing, and on September 7th, of that same year, she received a third strike for using cocaine again.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Artman blames her misconduct on an addiction and says that she “doesn’t want to die before the age of thirty.”
