A Middle School teacher in Texas was filmed removing her face mask and intentionally breathing on a student during a rowdy confrontation that happened in the classroom.
That teacher has since been removed from the classroom and now faces termination of her behavior during the September 17th incident.
The teacher, who has not been named, was shown in the video shouting, “I don’t care,” as she cornered the student at Mead Middle School in Houston.
The student can repeatedly be heard in the footage asking the teacher to “get out of my face” as she gathered her belongings to leave the class.
The Aldine Independent School District, where the middle school is located, is one of 19 school districts in the state that require staff and students to wear masks at all times.
“After being notified of the incident, the teacher was removed from the classroom, and an investigation was conducted,” a district spokesperson told the media. “The investigation has concluded and the district will take appropriate administrative action.”
