Mielle Organics Founder Exposes How Influencers Were "Earning Commission" to Spread Misinformation About Brand's Products [Video]

Mielle Organics is addressing the latest wave of rumors head-on after several users claimed their products are causing hair loss.

Many speculate that the viral hair care brand’s January 2023 acquisition by Procter & Gamble led to a secret formula change, with TikTok users sharing videos of shedding hair as supposed proof.

However, brand founder and CEO Monique Rodriguez insists that the products have remained unchanged and remain rigorously tested for safety and effectiveness.

In a recent Instagram statement, Monique clarified the situation: “Recently, there have been inaccurate statements on social media about our product safety. To clarify, no lawsuit has been filed against Mielle, and we are not involved in any active litigation.” She continued, “We remain unwavering in our commitment to the beauty, care, and empowerment of Black women.”

The brand’s Instagram caption reinforced this message, stating, “Mielle is committed to uplifting the Black community by broadening access to textured hair products and through our community programs. Since our founding in 2014, we have operated with the same mission and values envisioned by our Founder and CEO, Monique Rodriguez, and we continue to uphold these principles. We remain unwavering in our commitment to the beauty, care, and empowerment of Black women. Thank you for your continued trust and support.”
