Miguel Shows The Aftermath Of His Back After Suspending Himself From Hooks Pierced into Skin During Concert Stunt [Video]

Miguel is giving his fans a close-up of his back after he was suspended by his piercings at his recent show.

The “Adorn” star shared a photo of his bloodied and bruised back on Monday after the daring stunt. He performed at Sony Studios in Los Angeles, hanging only by the skin of his back, literally. Video of the preparation for the feat showed staffers connecting metal rods into his back before hooking those to cords. The singer was then raised into the air as the crowd looked on in fear and admiration. Thankfully, he was not harmed during the performance and seemingly enjoyed every second of it as he debuted new music.

Miguel is giving his fans a taste of his rebellious side, joining thousands who enjoy painful stunts as a means of pleasure. Hanging from back piercings is a favorite among daredevils of the world. In 2014, a Ukrainian couple broke the world record for the longest river crossing while dangling from their body jewels. 

Once the clip of the Grammy Award winner circulated on social media, some questioned why Miguel chose to go to such extreme lengths during his concert. Others roasted him for simply doing too much for shock value. No matter the response, Miguel clearly got the people talking.
