Last week Mike Epps and Kevin Hart were involved in a social media beef after Mike Epps told a Dallas radio station that Hart was overrated. Hart then told Mike Epps not to talk to him until he can sell out stadiums. A day later, Mike Epps brought Kevin Hart’s divorce into the mix, saying that at least he never left his wife when he got on. Ouch!
Mike Epps sat down with DishNation to discuss the beef. He says,“Before there was a Kevin Hart or Katt Williams or any of these little dudes there was a Mike Epps.” Sounds like a dig to me, but he also says “Kevin Hart is my little brother man. I don’t have anything against Kevin. Kevin Hart used to open up my shows. I got love for Kevin, man.”
While he did open doors for some newer comics, I hope he didn’t forget the several doors that had to be opened for him. You also can’t call a man your little brother and say you have love for them while saying they are overrated, sold their soul and aren’t loyal to their wife. That doesn’t sound like “love” to me.
Folks sure do like to throw out that “that’s my little brother” thing, don’t they?
