ESPN’s Mike Greenberg Believes UCONN Could Make the NBA Playoffs in the Eastern Conference [Video]

If you have been watching the NCAA tournament, you have noticed that the number one overall seed, UConn Huskies, is rolling. They cruised through their first two games with a combined winning margin of 56 points, awaiting San Diego State this Saturday.

The Huskies are looking to be the first program in nearly two decades to repeat as champions. This feat has not been achieved since the Florida Gators in 2007. They are two wins away from securing the region, and ESPN’s Mike Greenberg blew their dominance out of proportion, claiming that this UConn team could beat some NBA teams in the Eastern Conference.

“If they were in the Eastern Conference, would they make me the playoffs?” ESPN’s Jay Williams couldn’t do anything but laugh this morning on Get Up when it was mentioned. “I’m not doing that, Greeny,” Williams said.

Greeny claims that the Huskies are an NBA team. However, Jay reminded him that they are well-coached and have an overexuberant understanding of the system.
