“Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” alum Milan Christopher shared his thoughts on the ongoing Jussie Smollett investigation with TMZ, and he was not on the defense. Milan believes the “Empire” star used the alleged attack as an elaborate plot to grow his brand, especially on social media.
He said that the story was “love and hip-hop-ish” from the beginning and that it still seems like a hoax. “My idea of the scenario has not changed. Because everything about the story has changed. Except for my opinion about it.”
Milan shared that, to him, the saddest part of the situation is that there are real victims actually facing these types of hate crimes. He also explained how Jussie self-proclaiming himself “the gay Tupac” was incomparable. “Tupac was one of the most outspoken…that mouth of Tupac…Tupac was ruthless. And he was a fighter. He would never do something like this.”
To Milan, Jussie’s alleged actions will affect how gay, black men are viewed in society. If the accusations against Jussie are true, will the boy crying wolf make the world turn a blind eye when something REALLY happens?
