The tension between teammates Karl Anthony Towns and Jimmy Butler is all bad for Minnesota.
First, Towns expressed he would not sign a contract extension with the team until the Butler “situation” resolved itself.
Now, Butler is requesting a trade and wants to land with either the Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers or New York Knicks. According to reports, the three teams have the most to offer in max dollars without having to give up players.
Although Butler has requested a trade and made his list of landing spots, it doesn’t seem like the Timberwolves’ GM is ready to make this trade a reality.
