22-year-old Minnesota Vikings rookie CB Jabari Price was arrested early Monday morning following a traffic stop. He was pulled over at 3:18 AM the morning after the Vikings season-ending win over the Chicago Bears.
According to the police report, Price was initially pulled over for driving above the speed limit, until the officer “detected impairment in the driver” and immediately issued a breathalyzer test. Price registered a blood alcohol level of 0.13. He was then arrested and booked at Hennepin County jail on a misdemeanor charge of driving while impaired.
The Vikings released a statement via the Minneapolis Star Tribune:
“We are aware of the incident involving Jabari Price and are looking into the matter. We will withhold any further comment at this time.”
Price is now facing DWI charges and has a court appearance scheduled for February 9 in Minneapolis.
