Miss Jessie’s Co-Founder Titi Branch Dead Of Apparent Suicide

The news of Titi Branch’s December 4th death went under the radar until NV Magazine posted the obituary this week. The magazine says that Branch, co-founder of Miss Jessie’s natural haircare products, died of an apparent suicide though more details have not been made available. It has been confirmed by sister Miko Branch and Miss Jessie’s official Twitter, through dedication tweets, that Titi has passed away.

Titi Branch was 45 years old and aside from running a successful hair salon with her sister, Titi helped Miss Jessie’s become one of the first major hair care lines to grace the shelves of Target in the new wave of natural hair enthusiasm. Titi is also credited for the creation of the ever-so-popular Miss Jessie’s Curl Pudding, a product she uses on her own bouncy, blonde curls.
