With the election around the corner, the Republican presidential nominee has found himself in hot water. Since the lewd conversation surfaced last week, where the Donald Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women, his campaign has taken a major blow. Unfortunately for the Donald, it just keeps getting worse.
Earlier today, according to BuzzFeed, four former Miss Teen USA beauty contestants came forward to discuss the time when Trump walked into their dressing room, while they were changing during the 1997 beauty pageant. At the time of the incident, the contestants were between the ages of 14 and 19.
“When he started running for president, that is one of the first things I thought about: Oh, gross, this guy walked in on us in the pageant,” a former Miss Vermont Teen USA told BuzzFeed. “Girls were just scrambling to grab stuff, whatever garments they had. I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a man in here.”
However, as expected, based on his previous actions, Trump didn’t think anything of it. “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before,” he said to the young women.
The other three contestants, opted to remain anonymous, but still described the incident as “shocking” and “creepy.” One of the women, who was 17 at the time, even admitted to feeling intimidated, stating it felt like “it was his given right” to walk into their dressing room, “because he owned the pageant.”
While, other former contestants refuted the story, claiming there was “too much security” and “if anything inappropriate had gone on, the gossip would have flown,” being that the contestants were teenagers. Another former contestant came forward with a similar story from 2001.
“Our first introduction to him was when we were at dress rehearsal and half naked changing into our bikinis,” Miss Arizona said of her 2001 pageant experience. “He just came strolling right in. There was no second to put a robe on or any sort of clothing or anything. Some girls were topless. Other girls were naked.”
Miss Arizona went on to explain the experience, detailing the vulnerability of the young women. She also described the instruction the women were given, at the time, as they were put under pressure to fawn over Trump and get his attention, just because he was the owner. She even went as far to reveal the real reason Trump owned the pageant, saying, “I’m telling you Donald Trump owned the pageant for the reasons to utilize his power to get around beautiful women. Who do you complain to? He owns the pageant. There’s no one to complain to,” she said.
Seems legit, since the #Republican presidential nominee bragged about being able to do as he pleased during the pageants, including walking into the dressing rooms, during a 2005 episode of “The Howard Stern Show,” reports state.
“I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone’s getting dressed and ready,” he said. “I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant, and therefore I’m inspecting it. You know they’re standing there with no clothes. And you see these incredible looking women. And so I sort of get away with things like that.”
