The search for a missing man took a surprising turn when the gentleman showed up to join the search operation.
The Turkish man named Beyhan Mutlu had too much to drink and wandered away from his friends in the rural neighborhood of Çayyaka near the city of İnegöl. He ended up lost in a nearby forest, which caused panic within the community. As of Tuesday, his friends reported him missing, and search crews desperately began looking for him.
As authorities and volunteers scoured the area where he was last seen, the 50-year-old man decided to help them look. Not realizing that the concerned group was looking for him, he finally asked one of the people with the search, “Who are we looking for?” Once they began saying his name, he confirmed, “I am here.”
According to a tweet from a Turkish media outlet, Mutlu “searched for himself for hours.”
