A Missouri woman was arrested after being accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death with a sword on Christmas Eve.
Brittany Wilson, 32, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Cape Girardeau Police responded to a 911 call around 11:05 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The caller told dispatchers that she had fatally stabbed her boyfriend with a sword.
When officers arrived, Wilson was standing outside the house holding the sword. Police found Harrison Stephen Foster, 34, inside a bedroom in the home with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wilson told investigators that the couple had taken some methamphetamine earlier in the day, according to KFVS. She also said to them that Foster had several other “entities” living inside his body and that by stabbing him, she was “setting him free.”
She stabbed Foster three times before calling the police.
Wilson was taken into custody and booked into the Cape Girardeau municipal jail. She is being held on a $2 million cash bond.
