A Missouri woman was about that life. Authorities say she chased down her sister’s stolen car and allegedly shot two people inside after the vehicle crashed and caught fire.
Francesca Jones, 32, was driving with three children in St. Louis when she spotted her sisted’s stolen Dodge Challenger. The vehicle had been stolen the day before, the New York Post reported.
Jones pursued the Challenger, which collided with a truck at an intersection and veered off the road.
The vehicle then caught on fire. As it was burning, Jones allegedly got out of her vehicle and shot two occupants inside the stolen ride.
Authorities say one of the occupants returned fire.
Jones told investigators she wanted to stop the car by ramming into it. She was arrested at the scene.
Authorities have not released information on the two occupants’ conditions or Jones’ relationship with the children in her vehicle. They did, however, find a gun in the trunk of her car during the arrest.
Jones faces three counts each of assault, armed criminal action, and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
Her bond was set at $750,000.
