Missy Elliott just got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Last month, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced that it would finally be gracing Missy Elliott with her own star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her star will join 2,707 others, which honor the Hollywood industries’ greatest musicians, actors, producers and more.
The four-time Grammy award-winner will have her star located on Hollywood Blvd. and Vine St., right in front of Amoeba Records. The star was unveiled on Monday.
The multi-talented musician is well-known for her culturally-impacting hit songs and music videos and the choreography that comes along with them. Her biggest tracks over the years include “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” “Lose Control,” “Work It,” “Get Ur Freak On,” One Minute Man” and more.
She’s also collaborated on several bops featuring stars like Timbaland, Beyoncé, Monica, Mary J. Blige, and others. Missy has sold over 30 million records globally, and she became the first female Hip Hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame back in 2019.
Elliott’s Walk of Fame Ceremony streamed at 2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT.
