Well, it looks like Americans are not playing with Mitch McConnell about their money.
United States Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Louisville home was vandalized over the weekend. The home had messages like “where’s my money” and “Mitch Kills Poor” spray-painted on the bricks and windows of the home.
Saturday morning, McConnell released a statement that said, “I’ve spent my career fighting for the First Amendment and defending peaceful protest. I appreciate every Kentuckian who has engaged in the democratic process whether they agree with me or not.”
He continued, “This is different. Vandalism and the politics of fear have no place in our society.”
“My wife and I have never been intimidated by this toxic playbook. We just hope our neighbors in Louisville aren’t too inconvenienced by this radical tantrum, he concluded.
According to Courier-Journal, Louisville Metro Police Department didn’t respond to whether or not they have a suspect in the incident.
The vandalism comes after blocking the $2K stimulus packages to families, which was introduced by his buddy, Donald Trump.
