UH-OH! Looks like Milwaukee Brewers Ryan Braun (National League’s MVP in 2011)Â will not be able to get away from the consequences of this failed drug test this season. Back in 2011, Braun failed a drug test and was not suspended. This time he is suspended for 65 games, and it will cost him $3.25 million of his $8.5 million dollar salary. Braun violated the anti-doping code in the Major League Baseball and players, teammates and veterans took to twitter to chime in on it.
Former MLB player Delino DeShields had a few things to say and I can honestly say that I agree with him. He has a great point, and as a former player of 13 years in this league his opinion is respected.
All eyes are on New York Yankees Alex Rodriguez due to his connection with Biogenesis of America. See football players are not the only ones getting into trouble. Performance-Enhancing drugs are the thing for them. SMH!
