According to ESPN, Braun’s statement began: “I want to apologize for my actions and provide a more specific account of what I did and why I deserved to be suspended. I have no one to blame but myself.” Well sir thank you for telling everyone that via EMAIL. A press release was sent out with not one mention of PEDs and Braun has not faced a camera to really tell the truth. To add insult to injury, Braun only admitted to using PED’s back in 2011. It quite possible that Braun has been using PED’s dating back to his college days at the University of Miami.
Braun accepted his 65-game suspension and took a small pay cut from his $117 million dollars that is still owed to him. ESPN also stated that a former friend named Ralph Sasson has filed a defamation lawsuit against Braun. It alleges, among other things, that Braun used PEDs in college, violated NCAA rules by taking cash payments at Miami and cheated on his fiancée, model Larisa Fraser. Braun has a lot to deal with during his 65-game suspension.
