Indiana Pacers President Larry Bird told the press that Paul George’s contract extension deal has not been finalized. In an interview Bird stated that he wasn’t golfing because this deal needed to be done. According to Yahoo Sports, George and the team are finalizing a five-year, $90 million contract. The Pacers are working hard to keep the possible future free agent after this NBA season when his contract would be up.
Pacers President Larry Bird says that the number has to be what the team and the player want in this deal. Bird was unable to confirm whether or not the 5yr/$90 million dollar amount and time length of the contract extension is true. Do you think Paul George is worth $90 million to the Indiana Pacers??
