Money Bagg Yo Apologizes For Insensitive Tweets He Made About The Pandemic

Money Bagg Yo regrets a few tweets he wrote yesterday after implying that the pandemic has been good to him financially, as well as a few others.

In the tweet, he wrote, “Not gone lie I made a couple Ms in da pandemic, ion want it to end.” He then says that the pandemic helped a lot of people.

Now the rapper is issuing an apology to all his fans and Twitter followers for his cringe-worthy tweets; in reality many are struggling mentally, financially, and physically because of the coronavirus and it could be very disheartening to those who have been affected by this whole ordeal.

After receiving backlash from fans he tweeted, “I apologize to everybody I offended my comment was very insensitive it was not my intent to hurt anyone.” It appears as though the rapper understood that what he said was very hurtful.

But at the end of the day, Yo actually has a few reasons to boastful: just last January he dropped an album that did well on the Billboard 200, then he dropped his single “Said Sum” this past November, all while adding a remix with the City Girls and DaBaby, which also found it’s way high on the charts.

It may have been the most insensitive tweet during times likes this, but I do feel that it is okay for people to acknowledge their own achievements.
