But Montel Williams wasted no time in responding to the rumors, delivering a calm yet pointed response that quickly set the record straight. “Wow, I hear a blogger I’ve never heard of got millions of views claiming someone is ‘shopping’ a sex tape of me that will ‘break the internet,’” Williams tweeted. He went on to state plainly, “Let’s ‘break the internet’ w/ truth – there is no tape. Kamala Harris’s surge clearly has some people worried.”
Williams’s response not only dismissed the rumor but also suggested that Harris’ rising momentum in the polls may be causing concern among some critics. Harris and Williams were once romantically linked in the early 2000s, but there’s no evidence of any video as Wallace claimed.
