More Than 60 Ready-to-Eat Meat Products Recalled Over Possible Listeria Contamination

More than 60 meat products have been recalled due to potential listeria contamination.

On Saturday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that 64 products distributed by an Illinois-based company called Berhmann Meat and Processing, Inc. had been impacted by possible listeria contamination.

Some of the ready-to-eat products include pulled pork, cured hocks, bacon strips, wieners, smokehouse hams and more. The items were sold between July 7, 2022 and Sept. 9, 2022. The products that were affected have the listed establishment number “EST 20917.”

Health officials say to reach out to them directly with questions or concerns via the toll-free USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-MPHotline (888-674-6854).
