Morgan Freeman is the voice of 100 generations. He’s probably one of the most recognizable voices next to James Earl Jones and Snoop Dogg. It’s no wonder that he teamed up with WAZE to become the latest celebrity to voice their navigational system.
In 2013, WAZE debuted their new feature where celebrity voices offered turn by turn directions. Kevin Hart, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Stephen Colbert are just a few of the artists who have made their voices available to the app.
Freeman has a new movie due out in March in which he plays Vice President Trumbull in London has Fallen. The directions are based off the film. You can hear Freeman telling you “The American people are counting on you to drive,” and when your trip is complete he says, “It’s been my honor and duty to see you through this mission.”
The navigation app, WAZE, was founded in Israel in 2007. Its high demand and popularity led Google pay just over $1 billion to acquire the company in 2013.
