The mother of Kyle Rittenhouse has slammed President Joe Biden for suggesting that her son was a white supremacist.
The 18-year-old is on trial for the murder of two protesters and the shooting of another in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during a Black Lives Matter protest. He has maintained that he acted in self-defense while witnesses describe him shooting the victims for no apparent reason. Many people have called for justice, including President Joe Biden.
During his 2020 presidential campaign, Biden shared a video that included various images of white supremacy situations. The clip included videos of Rittenhouse carrying an AR-15 rifle, and the caption slammed former President Donald Trump for failing to condemn racism within America.
“There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night,” the caption read.

Wendy Rittenhouse says Biden used her son to get votes and slams claims that his attack was racially motivated.
“He is not a white supremacist. He is not a racist,” Wendy said in her interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity Thursday night.
Kyle previously pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.
