In honor of National Mustard Day, an American favorite candy has teamed up with the brand French’s to release a mustard-flavored skittle.
National Mustard Day falls on August 5 and is the fifth year French’s has celebrated the holiday.
The two brands have collaborated to give mustard lovers all over the U.S. a new French’s Mustard Skittles flavor as well as a chance to win a free fun-sized packet through three pop-ups and an online sweepstakes while supplies last.
“With the yellow holiday landing on August 5th, we knew we had to outdo ourselves. We are thrilled to collaborate with SKITTLES to deliver our beloved Classic Yellow® Mustard tang in a new and fun way to French’s and SKITTLES fans alike,” North America Vice President of Marketing for McCormick & Company Valda Coryat said in a press release.
Also, in honor of the holiday, French’s will drive around in a yellow vintage bus nicknamed the Mustard Mobile as it travels to Atlanta, Washington D.C., and New York City for scheduled pop-ups.
Customers will be able to try the limited-edition Skittles and can buy merchandise at the events.
From now until August 5, Skittles lovers can also visit the French’s website for a chance to win a pack of French’s Mustard Skittles or follow the brand or Skittles on social media to find out how to get the unique candy.
