Jonathan Amerault’s headless body was found lifeless in the New Hampshire woods on September 22. Another New Hampshire man, Armando Barron, has now been arrested and charged with the capital murder.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the night of September 19, Armando Barron discovered his wife Britany Barron was having an affair with Jonathan Amerau, through a text message thread shared between the two coworkers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After brutally assaulting and placing a gun in his wife’s mouth, Armando allegedly used Brittany’s phone to text Amerault and lure him to the kidnapping, which took place in Rindge’s Annette Wayside Park. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Britany told New Hampshire state police that her husband beat her lover during the kidnapping and ordered her to shoot him. When she refused, Armando then fired two fatal shots at Amerault, one in the chest and one to his head. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before The couple drove two separate vehicles to a campsite near Errol, Brittany was ordered to cut Amerault’s wrist & decapitate him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Amerault was reported missing by friends and family after missing his Monday shift at Teleflex Medical OEM. Britany, who also worked there, reportedly called in to quit her job the same day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wildlife Officers discovered Brittany alongside Amerault’s car and decapitated body, while his head was found in another part of the woods.
Britany is charged with three counts of falsifying physical evidence. Armando is being charged with capital murder, domestic violence, strangling, and threatening to use a deadly weapon.
Armando and Britany Barron both pleaded not guilty to all and are currently being held with no bond.
