Nanny Steps Forward as Witness in Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia’s Divorce Proceedings

In the latest developments of the messy divorce between Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia, Simon has introduced new testimony from a nanny employed at their residence.

According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the nanny, whose identity remains undisclosed, provided a detailed affidavit supporting Simon’s claims.

The nanny, who has been working for Simon since May 2020—prior to his marriage to Porsha—handled household management and childcare responsibilities. She reported working extensive hours, often staying overnight, which placed her at the heart of the household dynamics. In her affidavit, she described Simon as “a good man” and expressed shock over the marital discord that unfolded.

The affidavit details an incident on February 22, 2024, when Porsha, after wishing the nanny a happy birthday and presenting her with flowers, left the marital home and did not return. The following day, Porsha filed for divorce while Simon was away, leaving the nanny in charge of the children unexpectedly for several days.

The situation escalated two weeks later when Porsha returned to the house, allegedly accompanied by an armed security guard.

“I did not know she was coming with a guy that day. Simon asked me, can you go and open the door for Porsha and ask her what she needs and whether she needs to come inside the home. I went outside to meet Porsha and I said, Simon is asking do you need to come inside the house to get something. And Porsha said that she does not need to answer anything; and then, she went inside the house with a security guy with a gun.”

According to the nanny, Porsha entered the house without responding to queries about her intentions, accompanied by a “big guy who was walking like a bad guy,” openly displaying his firearm. The nanny expressed her concern for the safety of the household, noting that the presence of the armed guard was alarming and unexpected.

The nanny also recounted subsequent visits by Porsha, during one of which the locks were changed due to safety concerns after she was seen with another man. On her last recorded visit, Porsha allegedly disabled security cameras, further contributing to the nanny’s unease.

This testimony comes as part of a series of claims and counterclaims between Simon and Porsha, who had been married for just over a year before the split. Porsha initiated the divorce proceedings citing alleged immigration fraud by Simon and has demanded enforcement of their prenuptial agreement.

The divorce has also tangled up Porsha’s professional life, with Simon demanding that RHOA producers turn over all communications and unreleased footage involving Porsha related to their marriage and separation.
