Naomi Campbell broke the internet when she graced the cover of British Vogue with her daughter, showing part of the infant’s face for the first time. While the supermodel didn’t spill too much tea regarding her bundle of joy, she made it clear that the child was not adopted, as some have suspected.
The 51-year-old revealed last May that she’d welcomed her daughter weeks after walking the New York Fashion Week runway without a visible baby bump. Rumors immediately swirled about a possible surrogate or adoption. While Campbell didn’t make mention of the surrogate talks, she did deny that she adopted the baby.
“She wasn’t adopted – she’s my child,” Campbell shared. She would not elaborate further, which comes as no shock considering that she has kept the intricate details surrounding her journey into motherhood very private. Campbell said she could “count on one hand” the number of people who knew she was expecting a child.
The world-renowned model gushed over her baby girl, calling her “the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.” Revealing minor details about her baby, the fashion icon said her daughter does not cry much and recently began waving and trying to talk. According to the catwalk maven, her baby may walk before she learns to crawl and has six teeth already.
