Kim Kardashian isn’t the only celebrity who had a traumatic experience in Paris. Before Kim K was held at gunpoint and robbed, Naomi Campbell was a victim.
Naomi Campbell tells Wendy Williams that back in 2012, she arrived in Paris when she was attacked while leaving the airport to visit Azzedine Alaïa. Campbell said that she was in her car service when she noticed it was not her usual driver. The driver also had all of the windows down, it was the middle of November so that seemed strange. She said she also recalls the doors being unlocked.
“They attacked me, they opened up my car door, and they said, ‘Naomi Campbell, we’re going to kill you,’” she told Wendy. Campbell says she refused to give up her bag and people inside Alaïa’s shop came out at just in time to save her.
“The driver was in on it. It’s a whole ring that’s been happening for a few years now,” Campbell said. “I very much sympathized with [Kim Kardashian], and I felt for her right away. I hated hearing those stories that it wasn’t true. It was absolutely true, and it happened to me, and it happened to a few other people but it’s not for me to say.”
Naomi says that she opted not to go to the media with her story when it happened because she did not want anyone to know about it.
