The world took a mighty blow the evening of New Years Eve when legendary singer, Natalie Cole, passed away at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. She was 65 years old.
Today, Cole’s family releases the cause of death. According to family, Natalie Cole died of idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension which led to her heart failure. Cole was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension, rare lung disease that causes shortness of breath, dizziness and chest pain, in 2009 after her kidney transplant surgery. Drug addiction and Hepatitis C, which she was diagnosed with in 2007, caused Natalie Cole to suffer from kidney disease so she had a transplant to save her life. Unfortunately she suffered from complications ever since.
Rest in peace to Natalie Cole, and for everyone else, please take care of yourselves and your bodies.
