Last night NBA Commissioner announced that due to lack of negotiations that the lock out will continue and the first two weeks of the NBA season will be cancelled. If negotiations are not met, the players union is prepared to cancel another 2 weeks (the entire month of November).

In all, 100 games between Nov 1 and Nov 14 have been cancelled ranging from 6-8 games per team. Every 2 weeks cancelled costs the league $700-$800Million. Stern is adamant that the games will not be made up.
