Los Angeles Lakers star Christian Wood has been awarded sole custody of his son, whom he shares with Instagram influencer Yasmine Lopez.
The parents of 10-month-old Kobe have been embroiled in a bitter court battle stemming from Lopez vandalizing his property in February. She was seen on video surveillance jumping a fence at his home, deeply scratching a Mercedes-Benz, and opening the door of another before walking around the property. Lopez was arrested after a neighbor called 911 to report an intruder. The child she shares with Wood was with a friend. When he went to pick up the baby, the individual refused to hand over the child.

Unfortunately, this was not the first time Lopez allegedly broke into Wood’s home. He claims she illegally entered his property in August 2023 and destroyed several items inside.
Wood was granted a temporary restraining order against Lopez shortly after the February 2024 ordeal. However, after Wood appeared in court this week, a judge enforced the order for three years. While he was granted primary physical custody, he agreed to share joint legal custody with his ex-girlfriend, who was not present in court.
Under the restraining order, Lopez must remain at least 100 yards away from Wood. The model has not yet responded publicly to the ruling.
