NBA YoungBoy has made Billboard history, becoming the rapper with the most entries ever on the Billboard 200 chart. At just 25 years old, the Louisiana native now boasts 34 charting projects, surpassing the previous record held by E-40, who had 33. His latest album, “MASA,” debuted at No. 6 last week, cementing his place in the record books.
Billboard confirms “MASA” earned 49,000 equivalent album units in its first week, marking YoungBoy’s 16th top 10 entry. That number ties him with Jay-Z and Nas for the third-most top 10s among rappers. What makes his achievement even more remarkable is the speed of his rise; he’s released all 34 charting titles in just eight years. Only eight of those are studio albums, with the rest being mixtapes, compilations, and EPs.
YoungBoy has shown a relentless work ethic, with standout years in 2018 and 2022 when he placed eight separate projects on the chart in a single year. The feat puts him ahead of hip hop icons like Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, Tech N9ne, Lil Wayne, 2Pac, and Future in terms of total Billboard 200 entries.
This milestone adds to YoungBoy’s reputation as one of the most consistent and prolific artists in the rap game today.
