NBA YoungBoy has encountered significant problems on YouTube due to a legal obstacle arising from one of his uploaded videos.
Last Friday, the Louisiana-born artist posted a short video on his social media, expressing his frustration with the video-sharing platform. This frustration stemmed from his music video being flagged for copyright infringement within minutes of its release.
“Stop blackballing me,” he said. “Suck my d*ck, I still don’t give a f*ck. F*ck y’all!”
YoungBoy is no stranger to confrontation. In fact, he even surprised his most loyal supporters when a video from his 2019 arrest resurfaced recently. The footage gained widespread attention on social media earlier this month. In the video, the rapper is seen pacing inside a holding cell. He then approaches a police officer, making violent threats.
Aside from his arrest for marijuana possession, YoungBoy also spent three-months behind bars that same year due to a probation violation. Following this, he entered a plea deal for his 2016 shooting case, resulting in three years of probation and a suspended 10-year prison sentence.
While YoungBoy managed to stay out of trouble for some time, he encountered another situation when a fatal shooting occurred during the Rolling Loud Miami weekend. At a later hearing, District Judge Bonnie Jackson determined that a social media post related to the incident amounted to a violation of his probation, leading to his immediate return to jail.
