NBA YoungBoy is facing a lawsuit following allegations from a woman who claims he forcefully removed her from the stage during one of his performances.
Last week, Cayden Rutherford filed a lawsuit against the rapper for allegedly throwing her off stage while he performed at The Ambassador music venue in 2019. Despite YoungBoy not being directly involved in the incident, an unidentified individual working the concert threw Rutherford from the stage during his performance. As a result, she landed on the concrete floor and a broken cable.
According to the lawsuit, Rutherford suffered a concussion and neck, back, and ankle injuries, which have left her with daily mental and physical complications.
Additionally, Rutherford’s attorney Brad Elkin, argues that Youngboy has a history of violence to further his client’s claims. Elkin pointed out that Youngboy has been involved in numerous altercations with his fans in Minnesota, Virginia and South Carolina. He added the history should’ve prompted The Ambassador, Major Entertainment LLC, and Elite Security to increase their security but they failed to do so.
Nevertheless, Rutherford is requesting unspecified monetary compensation from Youngboy, the venue, promoters, and security.
