It must be something in the water because like a few of his rap counterparts, NBA Youngboy is back in jail for violating his probation. The Baton Rouge MC was taken into custody immediately after his latest hearing and will reportedly be detained for at least 30 days.
According to TMZ, District Judge Bonnie Jackson ruled that his involvement in the fatal Miami shooting last weekend that resulted in his girlfriend being shot constitutes a probation violation even though NBA was the target and not the perpetrator.
The judge cited the shooting and an Instagram post, in which YoungBoy referenced the shooting and threatened retaliation, as grounds for his arrest. His probation stems from an August 2017 sentence for aggravated assault with a firearm, in which the judge gave him a break by putting him on a three-year probation instead of the 10-year prison term he was facing. However, one of the conditions of the probation was that he stays off social media. And obviously, by the looks of his socials, he hasn’t.
NBA has been arrested twice since his probation, once in Florida last year and again in Georgia earlier this year for disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.
