Nelly Under Criminal Investigation For Sexual Assault In England

Just months after prosecutors tossed Nelly’s rape case due to the lack of cooperation from his accuser, the rapper is now facing similar allegations in England.

According to TMZ, the incident reportedly occurred December 5th after Nelly’s show in Essex when the accuser reportedly approached him for a picture.

The woman says upon her request, the rapper wrapped his arm around her and asked if she could stay and talk to him. The two then went back to his dressing room with her friends, but shortly after, he asked her to join him in another room next door. That is when things took a turn for the worse, according to the accuser.

As soon as the woman stepped into the room, Nelly reportedly dropped his pants and began masturbating. According to the publication, the woman says Nelly then tried to kiss her and pull her shirt off, as she tried to escape.

However, Nelly gripped her by the back of her head, used his left hand to push her body down and forced her head toward his crotch, just before “pushing his erect penis into her mouth.” The woman says she immediately ran out of the room as he called her a c*nt.

Problem is, the woman didn’t go straight to the police because she didn’t think people would believe her story. However, since then, Essex police have launched a sexual assault investigation into the matter.

Nelly’s lawyer has since released a statement to TMZ, saying, “These allegations arose after Ms. Green amended her suit for money to include a reference to these claims. The fact that the police are investigating these claims is not new information and Nelly welcomes a thorough investigation. Nelly is confident that once investigated, these claims will be determined to be disingenuous,” he said, adding that “Nelly was accompanied by his girlfriend during this tour and she was at his side throughout. It is important that police investigate every allegation of this nature.”
