Amid the mounting sexual assault allegations against Nelly, the “Country Grammar” rapper has officially fired back.
According to TMZ, just weeks after threatening to sue his rape accuser for false allegations, Nelly has followed through with a countersuit. In the suit, which was filed on Friday in Seattle, Nelly says Monique Greene came on to him and then lied about the incident to get him arrested.
The rapper claims Greene made her way into his section at the club and began flirting with him. Although he says he did invite her back to the tour bus, where the incident occurred, he says their sexual encounter was consensual.
However, according to Nelly, things took a turn for the worse when his backup dancer came in the room to use the bathroom. Nelly says Greene grew “aggressive and disruptive,” which prompted him to ask her to get off the bus, to which she responded by calling the cops and claiming that he raped her.

In the docs, Nelly says Greene’s rape claims were obviously a “malicious attempt” to get him arrested. He also says the claims are costing him a pretty penny, not to mention, his reputation in the industry.

As a result, Nelly wants a judge to toss Greene’s defamation suit, and strike her claim that he harassed and assaulted two other women.
