On Sunday, Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran NeNe Leakes took to Twitter to blow off some steam over her emotional exit from the show.
“Both are f their ratings are LOW! Bye Queens,” Leakes wrote, without mentioning names.
“She on cocaine so they should stop using her to talk,” she said. “They both need my help with their poor ratings.”
As the rant continued, fans began to inquire about the target of the attack, as some assumed she was referring to her former friends, Wendy Williams and Andy Cohen.
“Keep trying me, sir and imma let the world know who you really are,” she continued. “I will always eat and eat good! Believe that. I always believed in multiple streams of income, so the Leakes are good, you ole cocaine head and you ole racist. No one knew you until YOU knew me,” she said.
“Remember I’m icon,” she added, referring to a previous statement made by Cohen. “Don’t forget.”
The rant came after an explosive episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” which included a physical altercation between Monique Samuels and Candice Dillard. It also followed her emotional announcement about her decision to leave the show earlier this month.
“Thank you to all of you guys that have been showing me a lot of love and support as of late. I feel you, I hear you. I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation. There has been a lot of emotion flying on both sides,” Leakes explained. “It has been hard, and I have made the very hard and difficult decision to not be a part of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 13.”
As Leakes continued on Sunday, she called out the network for exploiting and manipulating black women.
“They always manipulating black women to say negative things about each other while they sit and enjoy us tearing each other down! Remember BLM Remember Breonna Taylor. Remember the most racist networks,” she said.
“They gone leave my name outta these shows,” Leakes continued. “Send me your best discrimination attorneys. IT’s WAR.”
“The racist is the master manipulator,” Leakes said. “They using me for ratings like they have always done.
In her last few tweets, she shared a photo of the OG housewives from each installment and opened up about their offers compared to hers.
“We strictly talking the OGs. I was the only black og. My white counter parts were elevated and given full season episodes every season. Each season I was given less and less. Don’t ask me, @ Andy and @ Bravo and ask them why,” she said. “So much you guys just don’t know! I’m going to bed now! The systemic racism is greater than you will ever know.”
