NeNe Leakes is refusing to speak out about the comments her friend Wendy Williams made about her.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star said on Instagram Live, “There are a few things I’m not going to address. I love to do a Q&A with you guys. But if you are going to ask me anything about Wendy, please refrain from doing so. I will not answer any questions concerning Wendy.”
She added, “I am not that kind of friend. I’ve never been that kind of friend despite what you might think. Any questions you have, I would direct them to her. I wish she would have done the same. I’m always loyal. I will always be loyal. I am not a snitch. I will never be one. I’m not going to hash out a friendship over social media.”
The drama started over the weekend when NeNe went on Instagram Live and surprised Wendy with a FaceTime call.
Wendy didn’t appreciate the call and hung up on NeNe. Wendy then addressed the incident on her show Monday, explaining how she felt ”ambushed” by NeNe’s call.
Wendy said, “You know I don’t have face or time for FaceTime, period, If I don’t do it for my own parents, why would I be doing it for someone over there. I like NeNe, but she’s still an over-there person to me.”
Wendy added, “I made it very clear, I am not a Housewife. Sorry, my career is a bit…different…then being a Housewife. I don’t need that kind of attention. I’m not slumming for being some add on out of the suitcase for some Housewife. And yeah, for me, that is slumming. For where I am.”
