We all know Valentine’s Day is the day of love, and Netflix loved us so much they decided to gift us with a new standup special from award-winning comedian #ChrisRock.
You read right, today (Feb. 14), Netflix will premiere “Chris Rock: Tamborine.” Rock’s first stand-up special in the last ten years. Deadline reports the Emmy and Grammy-winning comic will touch on several different current issues during his show.
The special will be shot at New York’s Brooklyn Academy of Music and is directed by Bo Burnham. The even better news is this is just one of two specials Rock received from his competitive Netflix deal. Sources say the record-high deal may be around $40 million.

Which is well-earned since Rock has already landed himself four Emmys from the specials he did with HBO. In celebration, Rock took to Instagram to share the big news. “Tonight at midnight (PT) my new standup special Tamborine becomes available on Netflix. Happy Valentine’s Day,” said Rock.
