With the ‘Coming To America’ sequel in production and an offer to return to the stand-up stage for the first time since the 1980s via Netflix in the works, 2019 appears to be a great year for Eddie Murphy, and the opportunities don’t stop there.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, on Thursday, Netflix secured a one-time licensing deal with Paramount to produce ”Beverly Hills Cop 4.”
The licensing deal has Eddie Murphy set to star, and Jerry Bruckheimer set to produce.
The first three Beverly Hills Cop films were released in 1984, 1987, and 1994. Now it looks like over 20 years later, Alex Foley is making his comeback.
