Kanye West keeps on giving. This time around, it will be his Netflix documentary “Jeen-Yuhs.”
Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah directed the film, which is said to be a three-part documentary. It is an intimate portrait of the Yeezy mogul’s rise to fame.
It will also feature behind-the-scenes footage of West, including some footage from his “The College Dropout” days. Variety reports that “Jeen-Yuhs” will also cover some of ‘Ye’s 2020 presidential bid, his fashion endeavors, as well as the death of his mom, Dr. Donda West.
On Saturday, Netflix gave a two-minute glimpse of the documentary, which features ‘Ye and Mos Def in 2002, rapping their verses from “Two Words.”
The directors have reportedly been working on this film for years, and Coodie may have footage of West dating back to 1991.
Earlier this year, Billboard reported that Netflix purchased the documentary from Coodie and Chike’s Creative Control company for around $30 million.
