Before permanently discontinuing the service, Netflix is giving subscribers one last chance to rent DVDs via mail.
DVD.com sent its last customers an email detailing its final offer earlier this week.
Regardless of their subscription, devoted customers can receive up to 10 extra rentals from their queue.
“Let’s have some fun for our finale!” Netflix said.
Eligible customers have been prompted to activate the promotion through a link, available in a “limited quantity” until supplies last.
Netflix said that customers “won’t know if any extra envelopes are headed your way until they arrive in your mailbox!”
The last DVDs will be sent on September 29; customers can return them by October 27.
In April, Netflix announced the closure of the physical rental service after 25 years.
