Netflix‘s ad-supported subscription tier will officially go live on Nov. 1.
Whether you love it or hate it, it’s here. The streaming platform’s subscription that will feature ads is finally among us. They are coming to your screens as an option on Nov. 1, months before its initial plans. The ads will be available as a tier option first in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Germany.

“We are still in the early days of deciding how to launch a lower-priced, ad-supported tier and no decisions have been made,” said a spokesperson for Netflix in an interview with Variety when questioned about Disney+’s launch.
