New Adidas Ultra 4D Colorway Is an Ode to “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”

As the world patiently awaits Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Adidas is celebrating the highly anticipated movie with a new line of Ultra 4Ds.

The Ultra 4Ds are the latest Adidas footwear to arrive in the “Wakanda Forever” colorway. The black, purple, and gold theme has previously adorned the Patrick Mahomes Adidas Impact FLX collaboration. Now, the popular running shoe has gotten the T’Challa treatment. Created of a black Primeknit, the sneaker features purple accents throughout, as well as the classic Adidas stripes, dipped in gold, standing out against the patterned upper. A black 4D midsole is placed perfectly on top of the purple outsole, creating a breathtaking shoe that is meant to resemble the armor worn by the characters in the Disney flick. Adidas even took it a step further by placing spikes on the toe, a nod to the armored collar seen in the film.

Across multiple industries, “Wakanda Forever” is being honored as fans anxiously await the movie’s release on November 11th. Kraft recently unveiled a limited edition Wakanda Forever Mac & Cheese with noodles shaped like the Wakanda shield and the Kimoyo Blue Bead bracelet worn by the characters. Lego has also revealed their Wakanda Forever War On The Water play set.

If you’re looking to get your hands on the Marvel x Adidas Ultra 4D “Wakanda Forever” sneaker, you may do so when it hits the Adidas website and select stores on September 30th. Prices start at $220.
