In new legal documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the girlfriend of Derrius Guice told law enforcement authorities that during a March incident, Guice physically assaulted her by pushing her, pulling her hair several times, and choking her until she became unconscious. When she eventually regained consciousness, she says Guice was sobbing next to her, pleading for her to wake up.
With this latest development, the former Washington Football Team running-back has racked up a total of three separate domestic violence incidents dating back to February.
The first documented incident took place on February 14, 2020. Guice’s girlfriend told law enforcement officials that Guice shoved her to the floor in the couple’s bathroom, causing injuries to her thumb, which eventually resulted in her losing her nail due to a popped blood vessel.
In another incident, Guice, 23, allegedly shoved the unidentified woman to ground outside of his Ashburn, Virginia home, causing bodily injuries, which she photographed and submitted to authorities.
The former baller is facing 5-years in prison if convicted of charges that include; assault and battery, felony strangulation, and destruction of property.
Guice, who is currently out on bail, has been released by the Washington Football Team, and as it stands, his NFL career seems to over.
